4th Edition – Recitation Competition for Primary Schools in the Albanian Language in Montenegro
On the occasion of March 7 – Teachers’ Day, the Cultural and Information Center “Malësia” – Tuzi organized the fourth edition of the Recitation Competition for primary schools with instruction in the Albanian language in Montenegro, under the motto “Poetry Brings Us Together.”
This day commemorates March 7, 1887, when the first national school in the Albanian language was opened in Korçë. Every year, on this anniversary, we remember with respect and gratitude the first teachers who, through their dedication and love, laid the foundations of education and knowledge.
This year’s competition brought together students from the first, second and third cycles of primary schools from Albanian-speaking communities throughout Montenegro. The event aimed to promote a love of poetry, the Albanian language and literature, while encouraging students’ talent, creativity and cultural expression.
